GORDON, ANTHONY (TONY) FITZERALD ORION - CST.  Regimental No. 49673

Cst. Anthony Gordon was born on the 6th of October 1976 in Edmonton, Alberta. Tony was shot and killed on March 3rd, 2005, while on a routine investigation at Rochfort Bridge. 

Tony completed training at Depot on October 15, 2002, at which time he engaged in the Force and was posted to "K" Division, Alberta at Whitecourt Detachment where he worked in General Policing and Highway Patrol. Tony was a valued member of the Whitecourt Detachment. He was looking forward to a long career and showed excellent potential. His commitment to the Force was only exceeded by his love for his family. Tony was an extremely devoted father to his three year old son Spencer, and to his wife Kim, who was expecting their second child at the time of Tony's death. Tony was extremely well liked by his colleagues and was a respected member of the Whitecourt community. 

Tony leaves behind, his wife Kim, and their two children: three year old Spencer, and newborn baby boy Anthony Ashton Jay Gordon (born 27th June 2005). He also leaves behind, his mother Doreen Duffy, father Michael Gordon, and stepfather John Duffy.
